Biography

Esther Solomon KIGIR, is a lecturer I in the Department of Veterinary Anatomy, University of Ilorin with about eleven (11)  years experience in teaching and research and various administrative experiences. She has served as Level Adviser for six (6) years, a member of different committees which include the dress code committee, Natural Science Museum, Faculty Welfare Committee, Head of Veterinary Histology Unit, currently the Webring member, representing the Department of Veterinary Anatomy in the Faculty.

Her research interest covers areas of Veterinary Gross and Microscopic Anatomy with interest in Neurosciences. She has to her credit about eighteen publications in reputable journals. She have successfully supervised one undergraduate project and presently supervising another student. She has won a TeTfund collaborative research grant and TETfund Intervention for Academic Staff Training and Development. Dr Kigir is a member of many professional bodies within Nigeria.
