Vision Statement

The Department of Veterinary Anatomy is committed to continually improving its educational environment in order to develop graduates with the strong academic backgrounds needed to achieve distinction in the field of Veterinary Medicine.

Mission Statement

To ensure that our products at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are fully trained to compete and thrive globally in the field of Veterinary Medicine and Anatomy respectively.

Opportunities

  1. Train students to be self-reliant in the field of Veterinary Medicine globally.
  2. Produce students who are adequately prepared for postgraduate research both nationally and internationally.
  3. Produce Veterinary Anatomists who can readily impart their knowledge to students at lower levels of education.
  4. Develop self-confidence in handling problems associated with research initiatives and anatomical techniques with minimal or no supervision.
  5. Train students to develop confidence in appreciating and solving problems in the field of Veterinary Anatomy.
